Nokia N73 speaker fault

Problem:

While I make a call to someone all they hear is crackling sound but in return i can her them like crystall clear shouting at me " I can not hear you your in shower talking on the phone it's crackling up" this is realy getting annoying can this be repaired.

Solution:

1. try cleaning the mic first before replacing it..this usually does the trick..theres probably dust on the mic
2. Hi it sounds like a microphone problem - did you drop the phone or get it wet? to replace the mic will cost about $25-35

Sir I entered Menu ...tools...settings......security...phone and sim....lock code ...Here it asks for a lock code ..which i have forgotten,...I entered many codes but it ain't working and it is not asking for a master code...It just says ... lock ocde entered incorrect five times phone will unlock in five minutes...Please guide what to do...

Hardware Failure: restart camera

Problem:

Hi Guys, when I slide the cover off the main camara, after a short delay I get the above message. I've tried restoring the original phone settings but it hasn't made any difference. I'd appreciate any suggestions. Many thanks

Solution:

1. i have encountered this problem and I went to the Nokia Care near me... They have reflashed the firmware and the girl who fixed it showed me the camera works. Then I was off, but after a few steps I tried the camera and the "hardware failure: restart camera" message popped up again. What she did is to remove the memory card and tried the camera and what do you know? the camera worked! So I reformatted my memory card and everything is well in the world again.
2. there is problem inside ur phone. better solution u should take it technician, if ur phone is under warrenty then take it to nearest nokia care. ur phone need to be repaired.
3. Its the camera slide, not the phone. I have one with the same problem. Simply stick a bit of blue tack on the battery by the contacts for the camera, place the cover back on, and the problem goes away. Its dodgy contacts, thats all.

Nokia N73 software update problem

After a long wait I finally purchased my unlocked Nokia N73 while on a trip to the Middle-East. I decided to enhance my perfectly working phone with an update from the Nokia web site. I installed the newest firmware on my PC, started the download process until I moved the usb cable and the phone powered off and would not power back on. I was told the firmware update did not complete and someone needs to reinstall software. Nokiausa won't help since the phone was not purchased here in the USA,and I cannot find anyone that could help me!!

Solution:

1. When updating software on Mobs, be sure to:HAVE A FULLY CHARGED BATTERY INSERTED;PUT IT ON GENERAL PROFILE;TURN OFF YOUR PIN NUMBER;CONNECT YOUR CHARGER TO YOUR MOB AND SWITCH IT ON;DO NOT-----DO NOT---- TOUCH YOUR PHONE WHILE THE UPDATE IS GOING ON;THIS CAN TAKE 30 MINUTES OR MORE.And obviously don't unplug the phone from the PC.Be patient, you may have to do a restart or two on your mob afterwards. Even remove the battery to get it going again. But give it plenty of time.I did an update on a Sony Eric 810i it took nearly two hours.
2. Nokia n73 Memory full

Problem:

according to memory details, i have 657 MB left in my memory card, yet prompts come up that say "memory full , delete some data" or another prompt that says i cannot receive incoming messages and must delete data , there is also a flashing envelope icon. ive turned the phone on and off, as per advice of some people, yet it is still the same. I cant even do simple functions, i keep getting prompted to delete data, which i have done, removing 400 pictures, freeing up so much memory space, yet still i cannot receive incoming messages because of "memory full" SO FRUSTRATING, HELP PLEASE!!!

Solution:

1. I think the problem is that the SMS memory is diffrent from the memory card.In order to fix your problem try and delete some of the msgs (SMS) that you have in the inbox, usually this will free up the memory you need
2. Try to change your default memory to Memory Card in Phone seeting then delete some messages from inbox. Aftr changing the Default Memory the phone will stores newly installed Apps, messages in Memory Card
