Problem
i forgotten the code for my N73 cell phone,when i switch on the phone,i have to enter the code to activate my phone,now i have forgotten the code and how do i unlock my phone? the handphone shop is asking for $70 to refresh the phone and unlock it and it takes 3days. is there any other way that i can get to unlock the phone?
Solution
N73 has this issue that many face. If you have set a lock code (5 digit numeric code) and you have entered the code incorrectly 5 times, then it will lock up the phone and issue a warning saying that the phone has been locked and it will unlock in 5 minutes.
The solution to unlock is as follows:
1. Switch off the phone.
2. Restart the phone. (Enter the pin if you have set one)
3. The phone will issue the same warning again about lock code being blocked
4. Let someone call you right now.
5. You will receive the call. You may wish to answer it.
6. Once the call has been completed, the phone will unlock itself.
7. Make sure you change the lock code after this.

PS: I cant help if you forgot the code. This will help only if your phone is locked because someone (or maybe yourself) has entered the code incorrectly
